The second edition of 'Winter Freak', the Manga and the alternative culture of the region, this weekend is held at the Palace of Exhibitions and Fairs IFEPA of Torre Pacheco.

The organizers have prepared for 27 and 28 February an intensive program of activities covering a wide range of topics on Japanese culture, traditions and history to literature and manga, composed of conference tournament games and video games, as well as various workshops.
The Director General of ICA said that the second edition of the Manga and Alternative Culture of the Region of Murcia "attract, again, thousands of Torre Pacheco interested in Japanese culture, who will enjoy and learn from activities not only focusing on the manga or anime, but also in a wide variety of content that will allow attendees of all ages deepen this culture of great wealth. "
Many who come to the salon also come from outside our region, which shows the "great cultural and tourist attraction that events like the Manga de Torre Pacheco have for a large number of people interested in this alternative culture , which is increasingly present in our society, "added Lopez-Briones.
On the occasion of 'Winter Freak', they will revisit the national and international prominent Region 'cosplayers' as Monika Lee and Riki' Riddle 'LeCotey, arriving from the US, or Manlima Cosplay, Nebulaluben and Alisyuon, winners of the' cosplay 'last edition.
Likewise, the world 'YouTuber' will also be present with Yoel Ramirez 'Folagor03' and Sara Ramirez 'Freckles'.
The first edition of 'Winter Freak' last year attracted more than 6,000 people who enjoyed some 200 activities.
For this occasion, the organizers have decided to restructure some areas of the room to increase the space of rest and to also increase the number of activities, which they hope to double aid and reach 12,000 people.
The organization facilitates the arrival of visitors in collaboration with Renfe, which offers 30 percent discount from any station in the country, and localTerminal, offering trips from Madrid, Albacete, Alicante and Almeria.
'Winter Freak' is held with the support of associations like Ragnarok Wolves, association Halona, ​​fangames or Ronin, and institutions and entities such as the autonomous region, the municipality of Torre Pacheco, the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia and Banco Sabadell, among others.

Classroom hours will be Saturday, from 10:00 to 21:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.
Tickets are priced at 6 euros (one day) and 11 euros (both days).
an entry that includes both days and access to the camping area for 16 euros is also available.
At the box office, prices are 6.5, 12 and 17 euros respectively.
