Yesterday began the first of four training activities will be carried out this year in Torre-Pacheco related aspects of the Occupational, Safety and First Aid Risks.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Leon, presented the course "First Aid for infants (0-3 years) in nursery schools", with a duration of 20 hours and in which 23 professionals from nursery schools in our municipality involved.
This course jointly organized by the city of Torre-Pacheco and the School of Education and Innovation of the Public Administration of the Region of Murcia (EFIAP), and framed in the Plan of Formation EFIAP 2016, is taught by technicians Red Cross Training.
The Mayor wanted to emphasize that "The organization and course development responds to the demand for training previously sent by our City Council to School, resulting in the approval for conducting decentralized in the city of Torre-Pacheco".
Training activities to be performed:
1. Course: First Aid with babies 0-3 years in municipal nursery school.
Duration 20 h.
(May 2016)
2. Course: Occupational Hazards Preventive Resources (for staff Municipal Services).
50 h.
(June 2016).
3. Course: Safety Management and lifting machinery (for staff Municipal Services).
Duration 10 h.
(June 2016).
4. Course: Geographic Information Systems (for Planning Services staff, preferably).
Duration 40 h.
(October 2016).
Performing these actions will contribute to achieve goals such as:
1. Promote the improvement of training and professional motivation of municipal employees of City Hall.
2. Facilitate access to training and removing the barrier of distance and displacement to train and attend courses.
3. To promote the culture of prevention and safety in the organization of our City.
4. Improve the professionalism and quality of services provided to our town and its citizens.
It is noteworthy that three of the courses related to aspects of Occupational, Safety and First Aid Risks have been raised following the request made by the Committee on Safety and Health of the City of Torre-Pacheco, after considering the desirability and need to promote and facilitate the training of employees and municipal services in these areas, thereby improving the quality and professionalism of our city service to our town and its citizens.
