This morning has started a training action to prove the competence in handling fruit and vegetables in order to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to apply in the workplace the proper techniques of hygiene and food safety in handling plant foods, to prevent contamination and prevent possible eating disorders.
23 students are formed in this area, apply in those specialties Food Industries for which professional practice is required.
The course, sponsored by the city of Torre-Pacheco, through the Department of Employment and Local Development, is funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training, and funded by the European Social Fund.
It will last for ten hours, which will be held between 30 and 31 May at the premises of Day Care Center Torre-Pacheco.
