For the first time has launched a Summer School during the month of August, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Torre-Pacheco.
The activities of the first summer school launched by the City of Torre Pacheco from 1 to 30 July, will not rest during the month of August.
A team of 4 monitors, specialized in various disciplines, are responsible for supervising and implementing activities under the program "Reconciling in August," which take place daily between 9 am and 14 pm, from 1 to 16 August.
A total of 55 children participate in summer school taking place in the Performing Arts Center (ASRC) in Torre Pacheco and the College Garre Alpañez in Balsicas.
These summer schools, subsidized by the City of Torre Pacheco and the European Social Fund, is an alternative entertainment for children whose families are struggling to reconcile work schedules with the care of children also in the month of August.
Councillor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez Marin, has been pleased to have given a solution to more than 40 families, who are enjoying for the first time in a playful summer school in August and affordable.
In the words of the Councillor, "These summer schools are an example of reconciliation policies we are carrying out from the city of Torre Pacheco to support families."
