Torre-Pacheco, one of the 300 municipalities awarded in the XVII Reading Animation Campaign María Moliner of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, FEMP and the Coca-Cola Foundation.
The awards are given to the best initiatives to promote reading carried out by municipal libraries of less than 50,000 inhabitants.
The Torre-Pacheco Library will receive in prize form a batch of 150 titles financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
The Councilor for Culture, Raul Lledó has highlighted the program of services and activities of the Municipal Library;
A novel and varied programming that reaches all the neighbors of the municipality, different ages and cultures.
Lledó has taken the opportunity to thank the work of the staff of the Department of Culture and the Library and to encourage everyone to read "because only with reading, education and culture will we be able to generate critical thinking that Allow yourself to be free ".
