The sonority of prehistoric man instruments, the origin of current instruments and the universality of artistic expression in any historical period, in a concert addressed to hundreds of primary school children.
The Councilor for Education, Inmaculada Martínez, and the Councilor for Culture, Raúl Lledó, were in charge of welcoming the hundreds of primary students who were in the Civic Center of the town to participate in this educational project entitled " The origin of the instruments ", highlighting the importance of artistic education in schools.
This concert has been selected in the Cycle of Concerts for Schoolchildren of the Palau de la Música of Valencia both in the course 2016 and for the next edition of February 2017.
Through ethnic instruments brought from indigenous communities, already considered museum pieces because of the difficulty of finding them today, the students know and listen to the sonority of the instruments of prehistoric man, thus understanding the origin of the current instruments and the universality of Artistic expression at any time in the history of mankind.
Bringing children to music concerts is a commitment to quality in education.
In a time when technology overwhelms and alienates us, the reunion with live experience, where the spectator is a co-participant of the artistic moment, makes us return to our expressive nature.
And that is the basis of the concert proposed by Pablo Nahual: to provide a vision for children to understand the greatness of how human beings, from their prehistoric origin, felt the need to express themselves artistically.
Pablo Nahual is an Argentine musician, Andean folklorist, with more than 30 years of experience in the stages, for both adults and children.
Researcher of the Andean Culture, he has made numerous trips to ethnic communities where he has connected with the rhythms, essences and the most ancient knowledge of this millenary culture.
Pablo transmits to the public in a fun, didactic and musical way all the knowledge collected for years, making us expand the horizons of imagination and knowledge.
