The works will involve an investment of more than 327,000 euros
A total of 26 families in the municipality of Torre Pacheco will receive more than 105,000 euros in aid to carry out rehabilitation work on their homes, financed by the Autonomous Community and the central government and which are included in the program of the Renewal and Regeneration Area Urban (ARRU) of the Housing Plan.
The director general of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, accompanied by the mayor of the town, Antonio Leon, held an informational meeting with the beneficiary families to inform them of the eligible actions and the deadlines for execution and payment of The aid.
Nuria Fuentes said that this aid "will relieve a significant part of the cost of the work to families, as they can handle almost 50 percent of the total cost of rehabilitation works, with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros."
To improve the state of conservation, energy efficiency and accessibility are the three axes that will focus the housing subsidies, which are located in an area that covers the urban center, the neighborhood of Los Albaladejos, in the neighborhood of San Antonio, Casas del Gabino, Casas de Paco Jiménez and Los Ruices, in which a population of about 2,000 inhabitants resides.
This subsidy of the public administrations will be added to the contribution of the beneficiaries and will involve a total investment of 327,767 euros in the municipality.
The aid will cover conservation actions (foundations, structures, installations, roofs, roofs, facades or other common elements), improvement of quality and sustainability, and accessibility to buildings and homes and premises.
Likewise, they will be able to carry out actions that contribute to improve energy efficiency by at least 30 percent.
This will be subsidized works in carpentry and window coverings, installing or replacing heating, cooling, heating and ventilation production and works to improve the thermal insulation of networks and the installation of equipment using renewable energy.
The beneficiaries will have until May 31 of next year as the maximum execution time of the works and the aid will be paid in two payments.
An advance payment of 25% of the subsidy will be made, with the resolution of recognition of the same, and the rest of the aid will be paid once the beneficiary has contributed the municipal license and the certified photocopy of the invoices and the supporting documents Of payment of all the expenses of the budget.
