Open registration period to participate in the 1st Conference on Citizen Participation: Elaboration regulation of participation to be held next Saturday at the Municipal Public Library of Torre-Pacheco.
In the morning today, the Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, and the Councilor for Communication, Carlos López, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, presented the 1st Citizen Participation Conference: Elaboration regulations for citizen participation, organized by the Council Of Citizen Participation.
This is the first opportunity for the social and economic agents, as well as the unorganized citizens of the municipality of Torre-Pacheco, to promote a participatory process aimed at the elaboration of a Regulation of Citizen Participation.
This day of participation is addressed to citizens, as well as to associations and groups with the objective of elaborating a participatory and "all" regulation, that bets, for the rights to information, petition and citizen proposal, for the creation and Development of participatory bodies, the promotion of associative entities and the strengthening of civil society, in order to carry out a Participative Democracy project in which we are able to involve neighbors and the entire social fabric.
The day will feature an institutional presentation, with a panel of experiences in which will be shown as models of participation to the municipality of Cartagena and Molina de Segura, and the conference "The Regulation of Citizen Participation, a pillar for an Open Government."
In this Conference, attendees will be able to actively participate in Working Groups, to make contributions to the Regulation through participatory dynamics.
In addition we will be able to taste a breakfast prepared by the students of the Mixed Program of Employment and Training of Youth Guarantee Alimenta2.
