The culture and oral tradition of Africa, arrived yesterday at the Municipal Public Library of Torre-Pacheco, with the hand of Agnes Agboton, writer and storyteller.
The Councilor for Culture, Raul Lledó was in charge of presenting the writer, Agnes Agboton, a native of Benin, and settled in Barcelona since the age of 17.
A multicultural meeting, where young people from high school in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco, participated in this activity, thanks to the agreement signed between Sfera Teatro and the Regional Administration that funds the project "AsociArte", and the collaboration of the City of Torre-Pacheco.
The writer, from the Republic of Benin, works on the recovery of stories, legends and songs from the oral tradition of her country.
Since 1990 he acts as a narrator, making available the legends and traditional stories of his people and the African continent, making several publications about it.
