The Carnival of Torre-Pacheco, again is celebrated with great novelties as it has commented in the presentation of the event the Councilor of Celebrations, Yolanda Castaño and the director of the Replay School, Santi García.
More than 20 singers from not only the region, have already registered in the first contest of carnival parade, and whose deadline ends on 23 February.
Hundreds of people will parade for a new route of more than two kilometers, which will delight the neighbors.
This year the groups participating in this parade, to be held on March 11, at 5:30 pm, will have to parade through Avenida Juan Carlos I, Avda. Europa, Redonda de las Banderas, Pedro López Street, Av. Fontes, calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Avda. Station, L. Gelabert Street, and Juan León Street, ending at the Plaza of the new City Hall.
The jury that will value the costumes, the way of parading, the makeup, the dances ... will deliver the prizes in the Plaza of the old Town Hall, one hour after the end of the parade.
Four cash prizes (1,000 euros to the first, 500 euros to the second, 300 euros to the third and 200 euros to the fourth), the charangas also have a prize (200 euros to the first, 150 to the second and 100 euros to the third).
The Cartel design by Carlos Castaño is in charge of publicizing this year the first contest Carnival Parade of Torre-Pacheco;
But it is not the only one, the Councilor of Celebrations, has highlighted that this year there will be 4 Carnival parades in the municipality;
March 4 will be paraded in Balsicas, Dolores de Pacheco and in the neighborhood of Fatima-La Hita de Torre-Pacheco, and March 11 will be the parade in Torre-Pacheco.
