From the Department of Personnel of the City Council has been scheduled this session with Ibermutuamur with the aim of improving awareness in issues of occupational accidents, especially in road safety.
This is the first of the different courses that the City Council has programmed on road safety.
It is a program divided into four sessions, attended by all municipal workers driving an official car.
During the first session, a presentation of the dynamics of the course is presented, as well as a video showing the correct positioning of the driver's seat.
After this, workers are divided into three groups to perform a series of dynamic interactive practices.
These are simulations of blood alcohol level and elimination time as a function of individual parameters, while experiencing how alcohol affects the driver's perception.
For this, they use a 3D simulator to carry out driving practices in risk situations in the road.
To conclude, they carry out practical demonstrations on the method of action in case of traffic accident to minimize its consequences.
Rosalía Rosique, Councilor for Personnel, added: "This day will be very interesting and productive for our workers and we hope it will help reduce accidents both in the workplace and in their daily lives."
