"The Region of Murcia: Nature, Art, Culture and Traditions" was the theme of the XVIII Cultural Week, organized by CPEI Bas.

A celebration that has aimed to disseminate and promote content related to this subject, making the center the protagonist of a series of activities aimed at the promotion and taste of these traditions.
The program of activities began with exhibitions of utensils and traditions of the Region of Murcia, in addition to exhibitions of traditional games such as petanque and bowling made by the elders of the town, also held the day of Folklore, where they introduced traditions, And in which the students enjoyed the performance of the Rondalla de Dolores de Pacheco.
In addition the center hosted an exhibition of painting by the artist Pablo Lambertos, who is currently a professor of plastic in this center, being responsible together with the students of the realization of the Sardine.
The program of activities, also had the visit of the Cartagena sculptor Juan J. Quiros, who made a workshop to sculpt in clay.
The cultural week ended last Friday, with the day of the Burial of the Sardine, where the traditional Sardine Parade and of course the Sardine Burn, attended not only the students of the center and the teachers, parents and Mothers were also part of this holiday party, in which there was no shortage of "Parranda", and "sardine.
