During the days 11 and 14 of March, within the activities on the occasion of International Women's Day, two Workshops of Illustration-Collage: Scenes of Women have been developed.
The Workshops have been given by the illustrator of Torre Pacheco, Guillermo Berman, who has also been in charge of putting image to the campaign this year.
A total of 30 people have participated in the workshops of Torre Pacheco and San Cayetano, where they have had the opportunity to practice collage techniques.
The participants, have created their works from poems by Gloria Fuertes, author of which this year is celebrated the centenary of his birth.
The theme of the workshop, as explained by the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez was the poetry of Gloria Fuertes, her feminist poems, is a not very well known facet of Gloria Fuertes, but still left a very important legacy With his poems that speak of the struggle for equality of women.
