The Community Association of Telecentre Networks made the 23rd of March the sixteenth meeting of their networks in the Science Park of the Region of Murcia, to strengthen the role of telecentres in the development of technological skills.
This association brings together different entities from all over Spain working in the creation, dynamization and maintenance of public spaces for the promotion of the Information Society, promoting citizens' access to information and communication technologies.
The event has been followed by 'streaming' by the more than 3,000 telecentres that form the network.
Torre-Pacheco through the Red Wings of the Region of Murcia is integrated in this association and was invited to participate to expose its experience of digital dynamization in the rural environment.
Participants were able to know in the interesting presentation of the book "digital natives do not exist", the importance and necessity of the accompaniment of parents in the introduction of children in the digital and technological world, as well as in the management of multiple technological devices : Those born in the digital age do not know everything and present deficiencies that can lead to unpleasant consequences.

The collaboration agreement between the Community Association of Telecentre Networks and the Cisco Networking Academy will enable an IT skills development program, a sector with a shortage of qualified professionals and that will continue to generate jobs in the coming years.
The Programming and Robotics table presented interesting experiences and initiatives that are carried out in different regions and are bringing the programming to the youngest, or programming clubs CODERDOJO where children and young people learn to program and research on technology in An informal and creative environment with the support of volunteer mentors.
The meeting ended with a table that revealed the future portal of the Wings Network of the Region of Murcia, and the experiences of dynamization of telecenters and free-access classrooms in the municipalities of Murcia and Torre-Pacheco.
From Torre-Pacheco was thanked the bet on national level (Community Association of Telecentre Networks) and regional (Network of Wings of the Region of Murcia) for this type of classrooms in difficult times for the Town Councils, since they allow to approach the world of The information and communication technologies to neighbors of small populations, to groups with limitations and difficulties to move, that in another case excluded.

The maintenance and opening of these classrooms in pedanias is possible thanks to the involvement of the associations that manage these spaces.
