The Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena has been present at the official inauguration of the agricultural technology fair Fame Innowa Torre Pacheco, which is held until next Saturday at the fairgrounds of Ifepa.
The inauguration was attended by the vice president of COEC and president of COEC Torre Pacheco, Inocente Cánovas;
The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Environment, Adela Martínez-Cachá;
The Director General of Agriculture and Livestock, Carmen Teodora Morales;
And the mayor of the municipality of Torre Pacheco and president of Ifepa, Antonio León, among other prominent authorities.
Innocent Cánovas stressed the value to the agricultural technology companies of holding this fair, especially because of the "growing interest of countries such as Peru and Senegal in the agricultural technological systems of the Region of Murcia."
In addition, it supposes an "economic engine" for the municipality during the four days that the fair is celebrated by the great influx of visitors.
Fame Innowa 2017 places the Region of Murcia as a reference point in agricultural technology and knowledge transfer.
It is an optimal environment for promoting research, innovation, technology transfer and practical knowledge through close collaboration between universities, R & D departments and fruit and vegetable producers.
This edition has the participation of 200 companies and more than 1,000 brands, occupying an area of ​​25,000 square meters divided into three pavilions.
Also, during the days 30 and 31 of March, the visitors will be able to know the latest trends in precision agriculture and the ICTs at the service of the field through the Forum of Knowledge and Technological Innovation.
