On April 6, BORM published the bases for the ideas contest of Integral Rehabilitation of the Civic Center of Roldán, convened by the City of Torre-Pacheco in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of the Region of Murcia.
The City of Torre-Pacheco, intends to recover this property, for use and enjoyment of the neighbors and that at this moment is lacking in content and underutilized.
The building maintains its possibilities of serving Roldán intact, although a technical and programmatic renovation is necessary.
Participating architects must submit their blueprints within 90 days of their publication on 6 April.
The competition has a double meaning: the first technician, focused on the rehabilitation of the building from a constructive and functional point of view;
And a second objective, of a programmatic nature, in which the architect or design team must propose an appropriate use for the building, which is underutilized, according to the current needs of the community as a user of the new facilities.
That is why, since the College of Architects has organized a visit today to the Civic Center of Roldan, where interested parties have been able to meet all the units and in addition to visiting the building have been able to know the concerns of neighbors, Through its Pedáneo Mayor, an opportunity to know and be able to capture in their projects the real need of this building.
