Music students from IES Gerardo Molina took the music out of the classroom by offering a concert under the title "Musiqueando" in the lobby of the Hall of the Town Hall of Torre-Pacheco.
The activity was planned in the Plaza of the New Town Hall but bad weather did not allow it, so from the Town Hall they were invited to take refuge in the lobby and perform the event there.
It is a concert offered by all the students of music of the institute Gerardo Molina from 1º of ESO until 2º of Bachillerato, where they interpreted different pieces with instruments of wind, rope, etc.
They used flutes, sheet instruments, guitars, body percussion and even sang.
"Musiqueando" is an initiative of the Confederation of Associations of Music Education of the Spanish State (COAEM) to take the music to the street, outside the classrooms, and thus give visibility to the work carried out in the music classes.
Musiqueando 2017 has received the adhesions of more than 130 educational centers in more than 90 locations and has had the participation of more than 13,000 students.
The IES Gerardo Molina began to realize this activity three years ago, the first one took place in the institute, the second one approached to the Town Hall Square and this year was planned to do it in the New Town Hall Square, but the bad weather has forced Look for shelter in the hall of the Town Hall, where the event has developed without problems.
