This project has received a grant of 260,800 euros from the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, through the SEF, co-financed by the European Social Fund.
Today, the Closing Ceremony of Alimenta2 has been held and certificates have been presented to the participants.
Through "Alimenta2" 18 young people have obtained a professional certificate, some in Basic Operations of Cooking and others in Basic Operations of Pastry.
These certificates have a high demand in the labor market, since one of every two people who obtain it, get work in a period of 6 months.
In addition, this course had another aspect, and that is that since Caritas Parroquial of Torre-Pacheco have been beneficiaries of this project, specifically the young have been in charge of preparing the menus of the social dining room, Caritas,
In addition to performing gastronomic demonstrations in activities held in the municipality.
The Councilor for Education, Youth and Employment of Torre-Pacheco City Council, Conchi Martínez, accompanied by SEF's Director General, Alejandro Zamora, and José García, President of Cáritas Parroquial today delivered to the participants a diploma in the specialty for the Which have been formed, in an event attended by members of the Municipal Corporation, as well as representatives of business associations in the municipality, and the coordinator of the course, Alicia Antolinos.
Alejandro Zamora wanted to thank the City of Torre-Pacheco to opt for these training courses and take advantage of the more than 260,800 € that the Autonomous Community has granted.
Finally, Conchi Martínez has stated that from the Town Hall of Torre-Pacheco they are very proud of how this mixed program of training and employment has been carried out.
He thanked all the young people for their participation, congratulated the teachers for their excellent work and also thanked the Hall of Celebrations Aquario for giving up its facilities for the completion of this course.
