Torre-Pacheco hosts next Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July GEOPACHECO, activity of Geocaching, organized by the Department of Tourism and with the collaboration of geocachers
The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Tourism, Rosalía Rosique and the Geocachers, Roberto Alberti and Maria Jesús Rodríguez, presented "GEOPACHECO", a geocaching activity that takes place this weekend in Torre-Pacheco.
Geocaching is an activity focused on finding objects hidden in a place.
So, every time you go to look for one of these objects, you also discover a new corner, its surroundings, its people, its history ..., not only because you are there to see and experience it, but because each hidden treasure includes a link in The game's website, which can provide us with historical, geological, and biological information or data about the place we are visiting.
The City Council intends with this activity to offer both the local community and visitors to the area the opportunity to discover Torre-Pacheco through this new form of tourism.
From the Department of Tourism, we are working to get the municipality of Torre-Pacheco, a reference in the Geocaching Murciano, because with this joint work, allows us to raise the possibilities of play to infinity, where urban furniture can form Part of the hidden object, allowing its location in unusual places.
Those interested can register through the Tourist Office of Torre-Pacheco or in Free Guided Tours of Murcia Tourist.
Twenty of Torre-Pacheco Bars and Restaurants join this activity, organizing GEOTAPAS, Tapa + Beverage 2.50 euros, plus minicopes, and specific menus, helping to create a "Geo" weekend in Torre-Pacheco.
