In order to respond to this need, the City of Torre-Pacheco through the Department of Equality, has launched, for the second consecutive year, the Summer Schools.
This morning, the Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez, have presented the Summer School program at the Garre Alpáñez school in Balsicas.
This School is in addition to those that are also being carried out in CEIP Fontes de Torre-Pacheco, and in the Primary and Secondary Schools of El Jimenado, Roldán, Dolores de Pacheco and San Cayetano.
The Summer Schools are held from 3 to 31 July from 8.00 to 15.00 hours and cost 50 euros per child, an affordable price for families, subsidized by the City.
The Councilor for Equality, commented that "almost 200 students participate this year in these summer schools that have been programmed from the council and are being developed in Torre-Pacheco, Balsicas, Roldan, San Cayetano, El Jimenado and Dolores de Pacheco.
