Manuel Frutos Llamazares, birth lions and adoption pachequero, lived in Torre-Pacheco, almost 30 years.

A restless person who did not stop investigating and innovating, which is reflected in his varied work, with volumes, color, realism, geometric works, and different themes, where his series dedicated to "Las Meninas", perhaps the best known and the series "Cabezas de Toro".
At the beginning of the nineties the artist incorporates in his workshop paintings of "realistic" cutting.
In this line highlights his series "Garbage" Llamazares, composes the first picture of this series with the waste of the reform of his house.
These are very structured canvases as far as composition is concerned.
We find, in the "Intellectual garbage", about two thousand magazines that are stacked in structure "X";
in the work "The Drums", the structure is rectangular, making us believe that we are before a photograph.
They are works, in short, that move between the reality of reality from the observation of the natural and the plastic expressionism of the same reality that the author tries to show.
Manuel Frutos, until the last day of his life continued working in his studio in Torre-Pacheco, tirelessly and sowed in the pursuit of beauty and deepening his artistic concepts.
Leaving a legacy, of which today his family gives way temporarily, so that neighbors and visitors can enjoy.
