A hundred runners met last October 12 in the Fourth Route of Vegetables in Los Cachimanes.
A career that stands out for its careful and affable organization, where the residents of the hamlet of Roldán, turn with the participants and visitors in a race, whose route runs through an area where the countryside and nature excel, away from noise and circulation.
The activity framed in the fiestas of Los Cachimanes, in honor to its patron the Virgin of the Pillar, surprises the participants by its fantastic organization, accompanied by a day of coexistence, in which the corridors replenish forces.
The Councilor for Sports, Raul Lledó, accompanied by Councilors Mari Carmen Guillen and Francisco Ramon was in charge of giving the exit, and to encourage the runners.
In this fourth edition, the winner was Moises Meroño, CD 30740 of San Pedro del Pinatar, who made the 9 kilometers in 30:53, followed by Juan Miguel Albaladejo, Pekabo Triathlon with 31:42 and Juan Jesus Atencia, of the Runtritón Cartagena, with 23:23.
In the women's category, the podium was for Alicia Rubio, from the Torre-Pacheco Athletics Club, with 43:44, followed by Olga Martinez, Runtritón with 44:19 and Emily Lansdale from CA Alcantarilla, with 44:21.
