The Municipal Public Library of Torre-Pacheco, program a cycle of activities that bring to memory the figure and the work of Miguel Hernandez, on the 75th anniversary of his death
This morning and coinciding with the "Library Day", October 24, the Councilor for Culture, Raul Lledó, accompanied by the technique of Culture, Teresa Marín, presented the program of activities "Miguel Hernández, 75 years without the poet of the people, "commemorating the 75th anniversary of his death.
The exhibition of "Expert in Lunas", which can be visited until 31 October, opens this program of activities.
The Municipal Public Library, shows a sample of engravings on "Perito en Lunas", where Ángel López Monsalvo interprets in 42 works the first book of the poet oriolano, in a sample that dates from 1977, a sample of great value, for the quality of work itself and for what it represents.
Next, the Exhibition Hall of the Library, will host the exhibition "Poisonism" by Manuel Poison, self-taught artist who leaves us on paper, table or canvas, his pictorial criticism, and that can be visited from 3 to 30 of November.
Storytelling, theatrical shows, magic, books, and commented readings are activities that are part of this homage that from the Town Hall of Torre-Pacheco, Miguel Hernandez, the poet of the town.
