The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León accompanied by the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Juan Antonio Lorca, members of the Municipal Corporation and municipal and regional technicians, visited the building of the future Paleontological Museum of Torre-Pacheco (MUPEH).
This scheduled visit as a continuation of the meeting held on September 13 by Antonio León and Juan Antonio Lorca, has had as objective to know in situ the current situation of the building, in addition to trying to concretize at first, the degree of collaboration and commitment between the City and the Autonomous Community, for the implementation of the future museum.
Likewise, the work commitment of the technicians has been acquired jointly, for the realization of a real study of expenses that will entail the start up of the museum, as well as the proposal of study of the future commitments of each institution.
The building next to Cabezo Gordo, next to the Murcia-San Javier highway, of great dimensions, will house the most important paleontological finds of the Region.
