The "Youth Correspondents" Program is a project for the dissemination of youth information in the HEIs of the Region of Murcia, of the General Directorate of Youth, together with the City Councils.
There are about 120 participants throughout the Region, of which 12 are from Torre-Pacheco, which is positioned as the area with the largest number of representatives.
Among its functions, it is important to give information of youth interest to the students of secondary schools during recess, being the nexus of communication between the City Council of Torre-Pacheco, through the Department of Youth, and young people.
All of them have a point of youth information within their educational center, in addition, they carry out and coordinate leisure activities and free time during a break per month;
activities such as zumba workshop, mailbox of love, book exchange, health campaigns such as smoking in young people and AIDS, celebration of the Day of Peace, among many other activities, all of great interest to young people.
Our Correspondents are students committed to the Educational Community, with healthy culture and leisure, but above all with the concern to participate in the social life of our municipality.
In this school year the young people who represent this initiative in each center are:

Councilor for Youth, Conchi Martínez highlights the participation of young people and the management teams of the centers that are disinterested in this project, which has an impact on the improvement of healthy leisure and free time for our young people.
