The City Council of Torre-Pacheco, through the Department of Youth for the second consecutive year develops the project "CONECT-T II", subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training and co-funded by the European Social Fund, within the Employment Program Local Public for young people enrolled in Youth Guarantee.
This project of LEISURE AND ALTERNATIVE CULTURE FOR ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE, "CONECTA-T II", consists of providing the service to energize young people and adolescents through the programming of healthy leisure activities, free time and alternative culture.
With this project we have hired 4 sociocultural instructors for recreational and entertainment activities, 1 public buildings concierge and a lighting assistant for the Performing Arts Center, which is one of the public spaces where a large part of the activities of the mentioned project.
The purpose of the project is to consolidate, after its implementation, the leisure program based on free time education through sports and cultural activities of a socio-educational nature during the evenings and nights of the weekends, proposing an alternative to repetitive leisure and, consumerist, to promote a responsible, educational, participative and egalitarian leisure, in healthy spaces.
Councilor for Youth, Conchi Martinez has presented together with the technique of Culture, Teresa Marín;
the staff of Youth, Conchi Martínez and Mª Eugenia García and the monitors of the project, the planned program of activities, which include, trips, workshops, contests, games, in short, a range of activities for the enjoyment of the youth of the municipality .
