Likewise, the spokesman of the government team, Carlos López has read the manifesto of the Community of Irrigators of Campo de Cartagena, which appeals to the whole country about the situation of extreme gravity that lives in the Levantine orchard and warns of the danger of desertification;
"We make a desperate call for a definitive solution to the historical problems of water scarcity that we are suffering, because without water, desert and unemployment, we defend the garden of Europe", with these words the manifesto elaborated by the conveners ends.
