From the Department of Equality and within the programming of activities on the occasion of the "International Women's Day", storytelling is scheduled for the youngest to work on the theme of Equality.
With this type of activities, the basis is created to try that in the future we do not have to talk about equality, to make it something intrinsic to the human being, commented María Martínez, from Circo de las Ideas.
The little ones enjoy this storytelling, live painting through the stories, the words are drawing the story that is being told, a very magical activity for children that catches their attention, according to María Martínez.
For her part, Councilor for Equality, Veronica Martinez highlighted the involvement of the City Council with the implementation of this type of initiatives to promote and enhance the values ​​of respect and equality from the earliest ages, to raise awareness in equality.
In addition, he thanked the teachers of the nursery schools for the work done during these weeks, the children have enjoyed the storytelling, and have carried out a series of activities to promote and commemorate the 8th of March.
Martinez, reiterated that the Department of Equality will continue working in this line "because we believe and we are convinced that working for Equality from the earliest ages tomorrow will have a much more egalitarian society."
