Among the events organized to commemorate the "International Women's Day", the Association of Women of San Cayetano, made an act tribute to seven older women, who have lived in the forefront of the evolution that women have suffered in this district and they are part of its history.
The act was presented by the Councilor for Equality Verónica Martínez Marín and by the president of the association Elena Farfán, who thanked the contribution of these women, with their work inside and outside the house, to break stereotypes and opened new ways of overcoming and I work for women.
The act, ended with the performance of a chorus of women, "Coro Philarmonics", which offered a repertoire of songs that were well received by the audience.
This activity was held last Thursday, March 8, 2018.
