The Department of Social Services of the City of Torre Pacheco hosts the "II Workshop of Repair of Footwear" free registration, organized by "Abraham Project."
This proposal will be taught in the Classroom of the Civic Center of Torre Pacheco to 14 students of the municipality, from April 9 to May 10 in the morning (from 9:30 to 13:30) with a total of 60 teaching hours.
The aim of this workshop is to provide people in situation or at risk of social exclusion with certain skills and knowledge about the management of leather and footwear repair machinery in order to develop a professional activity through self-employment.
"Project Abraham" has a long experience in social projects and collaboration with different local entities developing in recent years various training workshops, such as computer science or sewing which have been developed on other occasions in this municipality.
