The Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia in cooperation with the municipality of Torre Pacheco, made during the month of June and July workshops in New Technologies and Introduction to Computers.
The purpose of these free workshops is to bring women to use the Internet and access to many services and resources that will make your life easier, in just five days.
As important development to note is the fact that, in addition to incorporating the internet every day of the women involved, it is also intended to introduce them in mobile devices, as well as digital terrestrial television (DTT).
These are two technologies that open new possibilities for communication and interaction with the environment and can contribute to easier and faster to certain procedures and tasks.
Through this project, it was possible to train over 120 women in the municipality during this year on core competencies related to the Internet.
The format is a bus-mobile classroom equipped with all necessary infrastructure to accommodate the students and pupils.
The courses are conducted in one session daily, Monday through Friday, for two hours each day (10 hours total), in groups of 10 to 15 students / os.
