This morning the Director of the Institute for Youth, Veronica Lopez, Youth Councillor Torre-Pacheco, Araceli Martinez and Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, visited the 19 members of the Intercultural Work Camp VI on the esplanade Civic Center.
The boys are aged between 18 and 26 years old and come from different regions, involved in this field.
The work camp, home to a total of 18 young people for 15 days held socio-cultural activities aimed at children and young people.
All proceedings shall be conducted in cooperation with youth associations and groups in the municipality.
During these days, participants will exchange will launch various cultural and leisure activities such as workshops on alternative techniques of animation, drama, crafts and entertainment in the street.
Veronica Lopez acknowledged the great work they do the mayor and the councilor, and asked students' opinions on the scope of work and believed that things should be improved would be taken into account.
Daniel García Madrid thanked the collaboration of the guys for their contribution and for the love they have shown to children of different cultures that have made the activities throughout the fortnight.
The Torre-Pacheco Town Council always aims to work with different cultures so that problems that have occurred in other countries do not happen here.
