The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, today laid the first stone of the new Child Care Point (IAP) of the hamlet of El pachequera Jimenado, accompanied by Director General of Family, Gender and Children, Laura Muñoz, and the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid.
The project has a cost of 466,667 euros, of which 350,000 are provided by the Autonomous Community and the rest by the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
The period of execution of the work is six months.
This new ISP, located in Campo de Cartagena, will cater to 41 children under three years, 8:30 to 13:00 hours and 15:00 hours and 18:00 hours during the school year from September to June.
In July and August, if demanded by service users, will be open from 8:30 to 14:00 to promote reconciliation of work and family life.
To service is expected to create four new jobs, with one teacher and three senior technicians in Education.
In the town pachequero, the Ministry has invested 1,201,327 euros in the period 2006-2008 to conduct four performances consisting of the equipment and construction of two Centers for the Care of Children (IAC) and two PAI, which has led commissioning of 225 seats.
Regionally, the investment in these centers until Sept. 1 amounted to 42,077,281 euros to create 110 centers and Points of Care for Children, which is 8218 subsidized spaces.
