The City of Torre-Pacheco, in his project for new technology to provide better service to its citizens, has selected Unitronics to install your LAN in the various municipal offices and the virtualization of 150 jobs.
The renovation project of the local area network to the headquarters of the town hall, built with Cisco technology, will also include the migration to IP telephony in the 200 extensions with that account.
Within this project includes indoor Wi-Fi to enable mobility within the council.
This change will allow greater flexibility in communications, providing better telephony management council.
Similarly, encourage the streamlining of both calls and the operation of administrative programs.
All this helps the citizens in their community receive more efficient service.
A second project, also conducted in collaboration with Unitronics, is the virtualization of 150 jobs.
The VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) installed, based on technology from VMWare and Quest Software, is the creation of a centralized infrastructure that delivers programs and settings to the users so that each of them has a custom desktop available when you connect with your passwords.
This system is based on thin clients and allows great flexibility, since users can connect to your desktop from any computer.
The benefits of virtualization are many.
Among them, lower cost of ownership, centralized updating of programs and applications for all users, improving safety by preventing the loss or theft of data, regular backups and improved access control.
Both projects, undertaken with funds from the Plan E, placed the City of Torre Pacheco in the right conditions to meet the future development of citizen services with guarantees of success.
Also provide flexibility, versatility, efficiency and security to existing systems, facilitating the work of public employees in their daily work.
