Juana Brown visited one of the properties in Torre-Pacheco recovered through a line of grants to municipalities in which the regional government has invested 890,000 euros.
This house will be occupied by a family in about 10 days.
The first social housing in the town were built in Roldán, La Hortichuela and a block in the Retiro area (36 families)
It has carried out the adequacy of facilities, the facade and roof, the rush of sanitation, potable water and electricity as well as a recovery partition, painting and interior finishes
The managing director of the Housing and Land Institute (IVS), Jane Brown, with the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García, visited one of 16 social housing units recovered in ten municipalities in the region, within the rehabilitation work done the regional government.
The primary objective of these grants, with a total investment of 890,000 euros, is to facilitate access to housing for those families with lower incomes Murcia, through funding to local authorities for the acquisition and property put into use.
