On March 6, 2011 held a flag ceremony Pledge of civilian personnel in Torre-Pacheco, organized by the General Air Academy San Javier.
The act of swearing is framed within the activities scheduled to celebrate the 175 anniversary of the establishment of the Municipality of Torre-Pacheco.
The ceremony of the Pledge of Allegiance, which began at 13:00 hours and was chaired by Colonel-General Director of the Air Academy, Juan Antonio Ortega Vázquez.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, the national deputy, Albert Carre, the senator, Pedro Jose Ruiz, the Government Delegate, four regional deputies and representatives of the municipal corporation.
About 300 citizens, headed by the mayor of the town, exercised their right to swear or promise allegiance to the flag of Spain.
The event concluded with a flyover and ground forces engaged in the streets of Torre-Pacheco.
