The building has energy-saving systems and access control, using a device with fingerprint reader for identification of those access units
The Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos, today opened a new Comprehensive Security Center Torre Pacheco, which will host the security and emergency services in the town, including local police, Civil Protection and Emergency Coordination Center.
During the site visit, Fields, accompanied by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, toured the facilities of this building, whose layout and design, said the adviser, "are geared to respond as effectively, efficiently and expeditiously to the present and future inhabitants of this municipality. "
Comprehensive Security Center is located on a municipal plot Gerardo Molina Avenue, near the fairgrounds IFEPA, and has involved a total investment of 3,523,062 euros, of which the regional government has contributed 600,000 euros to build.
With an area of 3,721 square meters, the new infrastructure has been a major improvement to the building that currently houses the headquarters of the local police, who only has 120 square meters to develop their business and welcome the 67 agents now members of staff.
The new units have three floors are organized operational and administrative services of the various security forces and emergency.
The basement of the building has shot room, control room, gym, dungeons, warehouse and parking for official vehicles.
The ground floor has offices for citizen services, offices, locker rooms, laboratories, gunsmith, meeting rooms, break rooms, dining room and kitchen, while the first floor has training room, auditorium, library and offices.
The facilities include a fleet of road safety, a circuit formed by vertical and horizontal signals, a control booth, a classroom, an office and warehouse.
The building is designed with energy efficiency criteria and respect the environment by installing solar panels for producing hot water and light sensors.
The new center also has a new system of access control by fingerprint, to identify those who access it.
Campos said that with these new facilities, "not only gives the strength of security and emergency services for better infrastructure and resources, but is committed to further strengthening the ties of coordination and collaboration between them."
The Minister of Justice and Public Safety noted that the Local Police Force in Torre Pacheco has increased by 20 agents, through the Regional Public Safety Plan, and has expanded its mobile fleet by three vehicles and two motorcycles.
Feast of the pattern of the local police
The director and the mayor also attended the commemoration of the pattern of the local police, San Juan de Dios, which began with a pass of reviewing the actual body of the local police.
Manuel Campos noted the "dedication and effort of the agents to provide a public service committed to the security and freedom" and encouraged them to continue working on that line.
