This morning was closed and handed over the diplomas of the training activities organized within the framework of the AURORA
The City Council has been developing since January 2011 this project, funded by the Instituto Murciano Social Action, under the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration, expanding market access opportunities for employment of a group of more than 30 people living in the city or at risk of social exclusion.
As part of this initiative have been held several training activities:
- Literacy Course of 206 hours, by which we have worked with more than 15 people are illiterate and functionally illiterate, with the main objective to develop the basic skills of literacy, numeracy, speaking and group discussion.
- Course design and craftsmanship of personal ornaments and precious materials, with a duration of 81 hours, in which 15 people have been initiated in the office of JEWELERS.
Each of the students of this course has received a grant assistance of € 6 per session.
- Equality and Self-Employment Course, lasting 45 hours.
This has been on the same students from the previous year, and he intends to train in job search techniques and provide the students with the tools and strategies necessary for launching their own business initiatives, raising awareness on issues also related to reconciling work and family life.
Regardless of the AURORA project, have also delivered the diploma to participants with machine sewing courses, promoted by the Project and the Association IMSAS Abraham.
It was conducted in 10 people, which have been trained in the use of the machine and general sewing techniques.
The course has been 88 hours.
