Two of the most prestigious journals in the world of architecture, Spanish Passages, Critical Architecture and Architecture and the European europeaNew have published a comprehensive and attractive feature on the school 'Dawn', situated in the hamlet of Los Cachimana pachequera.
Under the initiative to improve the aesthetics of the municipality, the City proposed to design and build this new building, original design, with the aim of bringing children to the nature and surprise them with a pleasant environment, quiet and spacious.
This center has two distinct areas: the area of ​​infant and primary area.
Moreover, the structure of the school also clearly defines controlled spaces for fun and games for students, the space for classrooms.
The building is surrounded by a fence translucent polycarbonate with it, is to escape from the classical metal fence on many occasions, transmitting the sensation of being in a 'cage'.
On the other hand, the elevation and the cover is similar to the 'piano keys': the green roof rises and falls with different slopes, conveying a rich picture, changing and unique.
It is therefore a "skyline" very characteristic for the students and which highlights the unique character of this school of Torre Pacheco.
The building also has a games hall, multipurpose hall for holding events and meetings, situated in the area of ​​primary education.
Just north of the site, parking stands for teachers with a total of 25 seats.
Finally, and future expectations, different spaces are reserved for future expansion.
These spaces are incorporated into the same floor in the form of "shadow space", ie, built the structure but the gap is left for a later facade.
