The Ministry of Public Works and Planning has been awarded the repair firm to over 7 kilometers (PK 6.260 to PK 13) rm-road f28.
This action will provide greater security and comfort in the more than 700,000 trips annually that records this road.
The works, which have a budget of 520,000 euros, consisting of the sanitizing of the firm and the complete renovation of the surface layer, as well as the realization of shoulders at points where necessary to avoid side step the extended new firm.
This improvement has been awarded to Excomti Developments Ltd.
It will also carry out the refurbishment and construction of new concrete-lined ditches, to prevent the growth of grasses and weeds that impede adequate visibility.
Similarly, projecting the placement of signage, both horizontally and vertically, and the corresponding marking.
This action involves the improvement of a road that connects the municipalities of San Javier and Cartagena and also records the displacement of a ten per cent of heavy vehicles, derived from the intensive agriculture in the regions of Campo de Cartagena and Mar Menor.
