This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, has received a number of athletes in the municipality, proclaimed with the rank of Champion of Spain or above in 2011, in greeting his outstanding sporting career, his special dedication and effort , and its contribution to the design and dissemination of the municipality of Torre Pacheco.

The athletes received were as follows:

- Cristian Soriano Carrión (Koryo Taekwondo Club).

- Chavela Lopez Merino (Koryo Taekwondo Club).

Spain U21 Champion in 2011 and Junior Champion of Spain in 2011 and has participated in the 3 in the Junior European Championships.

- Lorena Sanchez Solana (Koryo Taekwondo Club).

Runner-up European University

- Sergio English Garre (Tennis Club Torre-Pacheco).

Spain's doubles champion juvenile.

- Pedro Meseguer (Local Police in Torre-Pacheco).

World Champion of the World Games with Fire and Police Selection Murcia

- Patricia Gomez Martinez (Club Gymnastics Competition Torre-Pacheco) Senior Champion of Spain in the form of an absolute ball.
