Last Monday began building two new workshops in stop-motion at the Center for Primary Education of the CRA Entretierras Jimenado.
The City of Torre-Pacheco through its Municipal Services Institute for Social Action (IMSAS) develops the project "CREACCIONA".
The purpose of this project is to promote social and cultural participation through the use of new information technology and audiovisual communication.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and European Integration Fund.
The aim of these workshops is to work on cultural diversity by creating animated stories using stop-motion technique.
The stop-motion is a technique that involves pretend audiovisual motion-capture stationary objects that result in recording a small animated tale.
In these workshops involving more than seventy students from 5th and 6th grade College CRA "Entretierras" El Jimenado (Torre-Pacheco).
Workshops will be held during school hours until 6 March.
In these workshops young people will learn to create animated stories give life to his fictional characters with clay, cardboard or recycled materials, creating from the storyboard to the stage where they recreate their stories.
The dissemination of this work will be done through the website www.andoenredando.es and in the programming of the Fourth Edition of the National Diversity Festival "Andoenredando" to be held in the second fortnight of June 2012 .
