With the arrival of good weather is expected that the Festival de Cante Flamenco de Lo Ferro begins to work, and your audience, waiting for news, to receive it without delay.
Although there are still more than three months for the highly anticipated summer event Flemish, Ferro I want to start your campaign featuring the new lineup of the festival, which was presented this morning at the Air Hall Performing Arts Center of Torre Pacheco.
During the ceremony involved the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, the Festival Coordinator, Francisco Aparicio and the author of the poster, Eva Ruiz Garcia.
The poster for this year is the work of the painter oriolana Ana Ruiz Garcia, who currently exhibits his work worldwide, having received multiple awards for his work.
This artist has managed to reflect on your poster as representative aspects of flamenco is the dance, women and subtly introduced an element such representative of Torre Pacheco as El Gordo Cabezo, so current in our dates for important paleontological universal.
As usual, the Festival, held from 21 to 26 August, annually pays tribute to individuals, cities or institutions for one reason or another have excelled in the promotion and dissemination of flamenco.
This year awarded the Gold Medal of the Festival (the highest award of the same) to:
· The Regional Assembly of Murcia and on behalf of its President Hon.
Mr. D.
Celdran Francisco, the highest authority of the House holds its institutional representation, in recognition of his advocacy and dissemination of culture in general and flamenco in particular.
In the House, is presented annually institutionally our Cante Flamenco Festival.
· The Autonomous City of Ceuta, and on behalf of His Excellency.

Juan Jesus Vivas Lara, President of the City, in recognition of the promotion and dissemination of flamenco both through its "Festival Flamenco" and its "Tertulia Flamenca", besides being the birthplace of great flamenco artists.
· The town of Lorca and on behalf of the Hon.
Mr. D.
Jódar Francisco Alonso, Mayor-President of the city, in recognition of the promotion and dissemination of flamenco through its Falmenco Festival Flamenco and its rocks, and is also a land of great artists such as Chiquito de Lorca, Antoñita Peñuela or the world famous Pascual de Lorca guitarist.
In addition, on Friday May 4 at 22:00 pm and held the last of the winter galas Lo Ferro has been held since September 2011.
