The Festival de Cante Flamenco de Lo Ferro these days has crossed the Strait of Gibraltar to visit the cities of Ceuta and Tetouan (Morocco).
La Peña Flamenca Golden Melon, along the city of Torre-Pacheco, presented the Ferreño festival at the Palace of the Assembly of the autonomous community of Ceuta and Spain in the House of Tetouan.
The presentation took place in Ceuta called Throne Room of that palace, which the Mayor of Torre Pacheco signed the Book of Honor of Ceuta.
In the presentation, Francisco Aparicio, Director of the Festival Flamenco de Lo Ferro informed the President of the autonomous community of Ceuta, Juan Jesus Vivas Lara, the award of the Medal of the festival to the city of Ceuta in recognition of the promotion and dissemination of art Jondo.
The award will be shared with the town of Lorca and the Regional Assembly.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, praised the work of the Peña Flamenca Golden Melon to make the festival remains a cultural landmark.
