The Director General of Cultural Assets, Francisco Gimenez Grace, accompanied by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, today introduced the Trinity XVIII and Berber celebrations to be held in the municipality of 1 to 3 June.
This event is exceeded year after year thanks to the enthusiasm and effort of pachequeros and is a real cultural attractions, historical and tourist visitor.
The Trinity-Berber parties were born in 1996 at the initiative of José Miguel Rodríguez, a historian and researcher of the town of Torre Pacheco.
Acts recall the dreaded Barbary raids raiding the coasts of the Mar Menor and the Campo de Cartagena during the XV, XVI and XVII and hindered the settlement of this area.
The celebrations will begin next Friday, June 1 at 18:30 pm with a parade.
Will be followed by the opening of the medieval market and 22:30 hours will be held a large ceremony in Trinity Barb New Town Hall Square, which this year will feature the Ars Antiqua Coral.
At 0:30 hours open mobile disco in the Plaza Vicente Anton.
The day of Saturday, June 2, starts at 12:00 pm with entertainment shows.
At 21:30 hours will be held a parade Trinity-Berber At midnight there will be a concert by the square Depolisemen Vincent Anton.
Finally, on Sunday 3, the last day of the holidays, there will be shows of percussion and storytelling throughout the day.
Other activities
The Feast of Trinity and Berber will this year also has a children's corner, including paint shops, juggling, coats, purses and soap.
