IU-Torre Pacheco Greens today expressed "total" rejection of the privatization of the management of five of the seven primary schools in Dolores de Pacheco, Balsicas and the district of San Antonio and points of childcare San Cayetano and the Jimenado.
According to the spokesman of IU-Green in the city of Torre Pacheco, Francisco Ramon Martinez, outsourcing these services, which will be debated in plenary morning bulletin, will have consequences "negative" about the quality of education and school employees childhood.
Meroņo councilor recalled that the Presidency and the Civil Service, Antonio Madrid, argued that the privatization of schools is the result of the economic situation and the need to implement the adjustment plan approved as a counterpart to the granting of a loan of 17 million of almost 4,000 euros to pay bills accumulated without budgetary support.
He denounced "the violation of the rights of workers of these centers, who until now were unaware of the privatization plans of the government team, with whom he has not negotiated any aspect of their job prospects."
The workers, according to a technical report of the City Administration will be relocated to the nursery Colorines of Torre Pacheco and that of Roland.
Meroņo has expressed concern about the "uncertain" future of these employees, and warned the impoverishment of educational services that lead to the private management of the centers "for the sake of profitability."
