The City of Torre-Pacheco, has been working with Intergenerational Solidarity Association since 2010, developing training activities aimed at enhancing the skills of people living in rural areas, particularly women who want to join the profession and need to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for employment.
Signing this agreement enables the implementation of three training courses for Dependent Carers, which for a period of 65 hours each one of them being made in the villages of Roldan, Dolores de Pacheco and Los Meroños.
The training, designed to incorporate the labor market to persons residing in rural areas, preferably women, combined training in care for dependents and at the same time, regular use of ICT and permanent, leading to the reduction of the gap digital, more marked in women over 50 years from rural settings.
