The Executive Secretary of Agriculture of the PP, Jesus Cano, praised today aid implemented by the regional government, estimated at 35 million euros, and will be funded 75 percent by the European Union, and stressed that " allow foster youth employment and generate wealth in the Region of Murcia ".

Cano believes that "it is essential to listen to farmers when designing policies affecting the sector" and that "it is equally essential that the measures included in this document regulating the common farming respond to reality so they can ensure continuity a sector that has become a true international reference in terms of exports of fruits and vegetables. "
In this sense pointed out that in the first half of 2012 exports have increased by 8.5 percent in the agricultural sector in general, putting Murcia exports well above the national average.
