To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November) the City of Torre-Pacheco through IMSAS has convened the First Contest of Stories and Tales for equality, "Peer to Peer.
This contest aims to promote gender equality and combating gender violence.
The works discussed on equal opportunities between women and men, the values ​​of coexistence nonsexist, eradication of gender violence and relations of good deals.
This contest is a municipal, so only open to people over 16 years living in Torre-Pacheco.
Texts can be submitted until November 9 at the Municipal Institute for Social Action Services personally (Monday to Friday from 08'30 to 13'30 h) or by mail (Europe Avenue # 2, 30700 Torre Pacheco)
It may submit up to 2 works per participant, which may not have been awarded in other contests.
Be assessed, the literary value of the work, the use of inclusive language and promoting egalitarian values.
The winner will receive his award on November 25 at a ceremony framed within the activities planned for the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women".
The award will have a budget of 300 € and diploma.
Likewise, the jury may award a second prize when another special quality journal papers and / or interest, with a budget of 150 € latter and Diploma.
