Five hundred neighbors have rallied Roldán Saturday afternoon to denounce the relentless increase of insecurity plaguing this district, especially in recent weeks.
This situation has worsened recently dramatically, with an increase of robberies in homes and farms in the locality.
The lack of security and fear that has driven the neighbors on the street is motivated by the lack of presence of the local police, who has been limited because of cuts to a few hours a day when police presence was previously permanent to the point of having own offices in the town.
Members of the local PSOE executive attended the demonstration in support of the neighbors, who have mobilized several weeks before the deteriorating situation and the complete passivity of the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid and the Government Commissioner, Joaquín Bascuñana who have done absolutely nothing to remedy this disturbing situation until Friday night, when the march was called, the session pachequero redoubled police presence.

PSOE spokesman said that "now that the PP rules in Murcia and Madrid, the mayor and aldermen have no excuse.
They can choose between demanding what Torre Pacheco and districts need, or submission to the governments cuts Valcárcel and Rajoy.
